Julia Bremble is the designer behind MarmaladeKiss. Trained in pattern cutting for fashion, she is a self taught corsetiere who has applied a study of anthropometrics to her unique brand of corsetry in order to create exceptionally well fitted and comfortable corsets for the modern woman.
Specialising in, but not limited to corsetry, Julia works alone from her home studio in Oxfordshire. By nature a perfectionist, she is happy to work locally and at distance, to create your ideal corset or outfit for any occassion.
Julia also owns and runs the popular online shop Sew Curvy Corsetry which sells corset making and sewing supplies for the home corsetiere and crafter and provides free tips and advice on how to make a corset. From Sew Curvy she teaches corsetry and dressmaking in Oxfordshire, has written an e-book on corset making for beginners (publication spring 2012) and writes a sewing blog which records her professional and recreational sewing pursuits including pattern cutting and dressmaking.
